Specialising in Portrait, Figurative and Commemorative Work.
Being selected for the SWAc prize award during lockdown gave me a renewed confidence in my own work and in the possibilities that life brings.
An eclectic and prolific worker, I now have a permanent home working and studio in Redruth where I love the creative atmosphere of the place, after moving to the Lizard Peninsula in 2009.
Alongside my portrait and figure work, I more recently become enamoured with abandoned buildings and have well established flora and fauna interests. I continue to explore the imaginary.
Commemorative pieces are a real love and at the heart of what I do.
Working with a wide range of media and approaches means you can expect to encounter many types of visual language in my output and I am able to deliver bespoke commissions to suit whatever your personal wishes might be.
Completed sketchbooks also available to leaf through and quick portraits; up to 60 minutes, available in pencil, pastel, paint or mixed media during a studio visit by appointment.
