Being selected for the SWAc prize award during lockdown gave me a renewed confidence in my own work and in the possibilities of life.
An eclectic and prolific worker, I now have a permanent home working and studio in Redruth where I love the creative atmosphere of the place, after moving to the Lizard Peninsula in 2009.
Alongside my portrait and figure work I have well established flora and fauna interests.I also continue to explore the imaginary.I have recently developed a passion for buildings in states of decay or resurrection.
Commemorative pieces are a real love and at the heart of what I do.
Working with a wide range of media and approaches means you can expect to encounter many types of visual language in my output and I am able to deliver bespoke commissions to suit whatever your personal wishes might be.
Studio visits by appointment where completed sketchbooks are also available to leaf through and quick portraits available; up to 60 minutes in pencil, pastel, paint or mixed media.
