Sometimes an Artwork is the perfect way to remember something important, vital, even.
For me this is my reason for being here, as an artist:
I am able to make a bespoke piece subject to your requirements and working together over time to create something long lasting and meaningful for you.
Celebration of a significant milestone in age or achievement, welcoming a new family member or in remembrance of someone now gone for example.
The process of commissioning a work offers us both a time to explore the chosen subject matter and having the artwork at conclusion gives you a positive outcome.
Work can take from a day to a year to complete;
It might be important to allow time between each of my work days for the next steps to become clear and I am open to that, depending on the circumstances.
Work can be about commemorating a departed loved one, through a portrait with ash, or a symbol, real or imagined for example that keeps you connected in a positive way with them.
